This verse is from the song of Srila Narottama dasa Thakura, who is none other than Champaka manjari. The intimate dasi of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna. And the most empowered associate of Nityananda Gaura. Gauranga Himself left His prem for Narottama. He was saying Narottama! Narottama! Narottama! And that Narottama is telling the whole world. Every single soul and devotee to sing Nityananda from their mouth.

majilo samsara-sukhe
vidya-kule ki koribe tar
You may have a very very great education. Very big degrees. You maybe a very expert scholar. But if you donât sing Nityanandaâs name, if you donât hear Nityanandaâs name then that education will not help you to give you real eternal happines.
And at the time of death, education will not come to your help. vidya-kule ki koribe tar. Nityananda na! na means those who donât. If you donât.. bolilo mukhe. Bolilo means to sing Nityanandaâs name. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Na, if you dont sing then there are consequences. Mukhe means it is very very clear that you should sing it audibly.
Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. mukhe means you have to move your mouth. You have to fill your mouth with Nityanandaâs name. So we are calling. When we call someone, we always sing their name in a long tone. We say Nityaaaaanda. Itâs like a call.
We are not only singing Nityananda, we are calling out to Nityananda. It is Nityananda Namkirtan basically. It may not have any instruments.No musical instruments are required but it is still Nityananda Kirtan. Because we are calling out.
Hare Krishna Mahamantra is known as the great chanting for deliverance. The great call to Radhe! Hare Krishna. Please engage me in Krishnaâs service. Hare Krishna, so itâs a call. So Nityananda Kirtan is also a call to save us from this repeated transmigration of 8.4 million species of bodily life and engage us Gaura Krishna's service.
Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Mukhe! Somebody is little far from us so how will They come to us. When we sing Their name audibly. Not when we take mentally. No, we have to call. bolilo mukhe. Our mouth, we have the propensity to speak badly about others, criticise others, get angry, speak the words of hate, and malign others. So how will this tendency go away. By filling the mouth with transcendental sound vibration of Nityananda's Namkirtan.
Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. So please remember this one line. These four words are enough to make a success of our life. And to give us ruchi. The offenseless relish of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. The ultimate perfection in the Hare Krishna Mahamantra known as the Harinam siddhi.
To see our spiritual form in Radha Krishnaâs lila and in Nityananda Gauraâs lila. And Nityananda is in both the places. As Nityananda Himself in Gaura lila and as Ananga manjari in Radha Krishna lila. So Nityanandaâs name can take us into both the pastimes simultaneously. And it can reveal the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

Nityananda ki nam eneche re. Just like Nityananda brought the Shuddha Harinam. He opened the market place of Harinam in Godruma. Nityananda Nam will open the secrets, the mysteries of Harinam in the physical absence of Nityananda.
In His aprakata lila on this Earth, we have His name. So we can beg the pure Harinam from His name. Khoda Nityananda! Khoda Nityananda! Är nÄiko kalir bhoy. The market place is opened by Nityananda. So Nityananda na bolilo mukhe.
Na means not. If you donât sing Nityanandaâs name from your mouth regularly. Obviously, its not once or twice or thrice. You have to keep on calling to Him till He hears us. He gives us the shuddha Harinam. So Nityananda na bolilo mukhe.
And the direct consequence is what? You will fall directly the victim to your bad thoughts. Majilo! Nobody can save you. Nobody. Itâs because the superior happiness. The bliss in Nityananda Namkirtan and Shravan will act like a precaution. Like a vaccination. Like an antiseptic against the bad thoughts before they even arise in your heart and your mind.
And even if they arise, their potency will be highly diminished because of the bliss you have experienced. That you are experiencing in Nityananda Namkirtan. aparadhera vichara to nahi re. There is no offense. The full sunlight comes. The full mercy comes in Nityananda Namkirtan even if we are unqualified.
And that Nityananda Namkirtan gives us the qualification for Gauranga Namkirtan and then for Hare Krishna Mahamantra. No one is saying that you donât sing Gaurangaâs name or donât chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. I just want to request you to do some Nityananda Namkirtan and Namlekhan in addition of Harinam Japa and Kirtan and Gauranga Kirtan. It is the preparation, the means and the goal.
By practicing Nityananda Namkirtan, we will be actually approaching Harinam through Nityananda. Thatâs what Narottam das Thakur says heno Nityananda bine bhai, radha-krishna paite nai. So donât approach Radha Krishna without Nityananda, without going to Nityananda first.
How do we practicality translate it in our lives? Just by singing the song heno Nityananda bine bhai, radha-krishna paite nai! nityanandera karuášÄ hobe braje rÄdhÄ kášášŁáša pÄbe, is it enough? No, practically it means you do Nityananda Namkirtan and Namlekhan daily.
You approach Nityananda Nam and approach Nityananda Lila. chaitanya-mangala shune yadi pashandi yavana, seha maha- vaishnava haya tatakshana (Cc 1.8.38). Become a maha vaishnava by hearing Nityananda lila.
Nityananda Namkirtan or Namlekhan is not a replacement to Harinam. Pancha Tattva mantra is not a replacement to Nityananda Namkirtan. Pancha Tattva mantra includes Nityanandaâs name and the Pancha Tattvaâs Divine Names but we donât take it a lot of times everyday because our acharyas have told us to chant it only a few times specifically.
On the other hand, Nityananda Nam is a namatmika mantra. So our acharyas instructed us to sing Nityanandaâs name and acharyas have said take it constantly, very regularly and then approach Gaurangaâs name and then approach Harinam.
Similarly hear Nityananda lila everyday a little bit, sing Nityananda lila and then your heart will become free of all anarthas and your offensive mentality. Then when you hear Gauranga lila, hridaya nirmal bhelo tar and then Radha and Krishnaâs pastimes.
If you donât have much time, start with 5 or 10 minutes of Nityananda Namkirtan, Namlekhan and Lila Shravan. Initially we need Nityanandaâs mercy a lot, a lot and that is what Narottam is saying majilo samsara sukhe. The first point is majilo. Ära kabe nityananda-cÄáš
dera karuášÄ habe, saášsÄra-vÄsanÄ mora kabe tuccha habe.
When will those bad thoughts, offensive desires will become insignificant only by Nityanandaâs mercy? If you just chant Pancha Tattva Mantra 2-3 times and you stand before Nityananda Gaura deity or you offer bhoga to Them, you will certainly get some mercy of Nityananda?
But the way to worship any Lord in kaliyuga is through His name. So if you want really! nityananda-cÄáš
dera karuášÄ haibe, braje Radha Krishna pabe, saášsÄra-vÄsanÄ mora kabe tuccha habe. This instruction of Narotam das Thakur is the prime most of all instructions.
Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. He did not even tell you: "You should sing Nityanandaâs name". He is directly saying that if you donât take Nityanandaâs name what will happen?â You will drown very very deeply in the ocean of wrong activities. So he does not leave any choice to us. So you can decide.
I have explained you these 4 words and I will keep explaining this verse. Bolilo, bolilo means bolna, bolna in English means to speak or sing, bol. Mukhe means the mouth. Some people may say bolilo means I can even say it mentally, speak it mentally. To remove that doubt Narottam das Thakur says mukhe, mukhe means through the mouth.
Your mouth has to move and the sound vibration of Nityananda Namkirtan has to come out. And then your Harinam will become so sweet. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. I am here to serve all the devotees. I have no other motivation in my life. So to help in my own menial way.
I am back with all of you with the part 2 of Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Narottam das Thakur, the manjari of Radha Krishna directly requests us here to sing Nityananda Nam. Narottam is a manjari, Radharaniâs palya dasi. So no one can say that, for Radharaniâs palyadasi bhava, Nityananda Nam is not needed or Nityanandaâs mercy is not needed.
Nobody can say that now because Narottam das is the most intimate servitor of Radhika and Lalita, Vishakha and the ashta sakhis. He is telling us, Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Why? Because he wants others to hear Nityananda Nam of course.
If you want to stop yourself from going into the negative level and cross beyond the zero level and come to the positive level in Harinam Sadhana, then there is no other way than Nityananda Namkirtan and Namlekhan. majilo sansar sukhe.
And not just that! One loses oneâs intelligence, get into wrong deeds, bad thoughts, or harmful thoughts. But he says majilo. majilo means to drown. Literally, one will DROWN! Not even immerse, in one will drown in those harmful thoughts and misdeeds, which will not be good for our soul obviously. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe, majilo samsar sukhe. So itâs a direct consequence.
We have Hare Krishna Mahamantra which is our most worshipable Harinam given by Nityananda Gauranga Themselves to worship Radha Krishna.
Gaurangaâs Namkirtan is the Kirtan of the Gaura Gopala mantra: Gau-ra-a-nga.
So we approach Gauranga through Nityananda, through Nityananda. Those who have read Chaitanya Bhagavat will be fully aware of this fact that Vrindavan Thakur says, amar prabhur prabhu sri gauranga sundar.
Thatâs the beauty in being the servant of the servant of the servant. Not the direct servant. So the beauty is to approach Gaurs through Nityananda. And to approach Gaura Nam and Hari Nam through Nityananda Nam.
â¨Narottam has said that. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Its the first step. Narottam has said! It is the first. And what is the first step, is to become free from these unwanted things. Harmful things and make our heart clear. cheto darpan marjanam! First make our heart clear. Cleansed of harmful thoughts. Because Gaura Radha Krishnaâs names, their bhakti and their lilas will appear in our heart when it becomes pure. It is said by Narottam that:
gaurangaâ bolite
habe pulaka-sarira
âhari hariâ bolite
nayane baâ be near
(Lalasmayi Prarthana, Gauranga balite haâbe by Srila Norattam das Thakur)
And it is also said,
gaurangera madhura-lila
jar karne pravesila,
hridoya nirmala bhelo tar
(Savarana-sri-gaura-mahima,
Prarthana book by Srila Narottam das Thakur)
So Gaurangaâs name also will give us tears of love and Hare Krishna Mahamantra. gauranga balite habe pulaka sharir: we will get goosebumps in our body. And all these injunctions given by Narottam das Thakura. And then he says hearing Gaurangaâs pastimes our heart will become very pure.
So all these injunctions given by Narottam das Thakur, why I am stressing. Why I am giving these commentaries on Nityananda na bolilo mukhe? Because Nityananda na bililo mukhe is actually the preliminary first step without which we cannot put our second step.
adau gurum ashrayam. Itâs first. So our Gurudev, our Guru parampara. By glorifying Nityananda we are not minimizing our Guru Parampara. Vrindavan das Thakur is my Mukhya Guru. Vrindavan das Thakura said:
vanik adham murkh
je karila paar
brahmand pavitra
haya nam laile jaar
(Chaitanya Bhagavat 2.3.134). â¨â¨Nityananda Nam iss the Jagad Guru for those who have not found their Sat Guru, an advanced devotee of Nityananda Gauranga and Radha Krishna. I always have emphasized that one needs a living guru who is a representative of Nityananda and the Guru Parampara. I have never replaced Nityananda with the need of a living guru. If that was the case, I would have not accepted disciples in the first place.
I would have said to everybody take diksha from Nityananda or from Guru Parampara. So by the order of my own Gurudev, mercy of my own Gurudev. So in all our vyas pujas, Guru purnimas. I feel very very embarrassed to glorify myself. I glorify Nityananda and all our acharyas. So one can think of Nityananda as our guru, Jagadguru. It is every soul's birthright. In Harinam Cintamani its written, adya acharya jini shiksha guru tini.
We can have direct remembrance of Nityananda. Every soul is His direct part and parcel. That doesnât mean we are bypassing our Guru parampara or bypassing our own Gurudev. Or we are bypassing Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad or Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada or Srila Bhaktivinod Thakura. Or Vrindavan das Thakur or Srila Krishnadas Kaviraj Goswami.
If I had no respect for our acharyas and just thinking about Nityananda then I would not be commenting on this song, Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. I would have just given my own commentaries without referring Narottam das Thakurâs words. In my book, I would not have quoted acharyas verses on every page.
And what for? I donât want name, fame, following. I am simply presenting as per the words of Narottam das Thakur, Vrindavan das Thakura as per all the Acharyas. This is not for getting disciples or followers that I am teaching something "new". Because it is not new, it is all there in our Acharyas' vani.
I don't want show myself greater than anyone. If I wanted to do that, I would have gone to the assemblies of devotees and showed off my knowledge. I would have approached devotees of other sangas or other groups. Or I would have done fund raising or something like that. All these things I am never interested in.â¨â¨So what is my motivation? My motivation is not money, followers. No, my motivation is my love for Srila Narottam das Thakurâs instructions. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe majilo samsara sukhe.
This is the preliminary. And I felt there is a need to stress on Nityananda Namkirtan and Namlekhan for Harinam Siddhi. So that we donât approach Harinam with offenses and both for Gurus and their disciples are protected from falldown.
Approaching Nityananda Namkirtan doesnât need any diksha. One doesnât need to decrease oneâs rounds of Hare Krishna japa or one doesnât have to leave Gauranga Nam Shravan Kirtan. The Pancha tattva mantra always needs to be chanted.
What I am just trying to share here. It is upto you, those who are hearing. Whether you want to accept it or not. Those who know me, know that I donât force anything on anyone. I can just share what I have realized by causeless mercy. Whether you may believe or not. Whether I have received the mercy or not. Here I am quoting Narottam das Thakurâs words, not my own words. Thatâs upto you whether you want to believe Narottam das Thakur or not!
gaurangaâ bolite habe pulaka-sarira. It doesnât mean that Nityananda na bolilo mukhe is invalid. Or Nityananda na bolilo mukhe doesnât mean that gaurangaâ bolite habe pulaka-sarira âhari hariâ bolite nayane baâ be neera, is invalid. What I am trying to say is that this is the first step. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe. Why? Because majilo samsar sukhe. â¨â¨kabe nityananda, more kori doya, charaibe mora visayera maya (kabe habe bolo bhajan by Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur)
So first all acharyas; Narottam went to Ekachakra, Jiva goswami went to Navadvipa with Nityananda. Raghunatha dasa goswami served Nityananda at panihati. Even our siddha acharyas have approached Nityananda Nam first. This is the meaning of Nityananda na bolilo mukhe majilo samsara sukhe. I am very grateful to all of you for allowing me this opportunity to explain my heart. Nityananda na bolilo mukhe, majilo samsar sukhe. Dandavat pranams. Hare Krishna!
